Kapton is polyimide film which is translucent and has outstanding electrical insulation. Kapton is extremely thin and capable of handling temperatures between -269°C to 200°C. The characteristics of this materials make Kapton Heaters perfect for heating many diverse applications. The maximum dimensions are 285mm x 550mm and available in both non-adhesive or self-adhesive. As kapton heaters have excellent chemical and weather resistance, these heaters are often used in demanding environments.
